ce jour il existe peu de tmoignages relatifs aux vnements lis
la libration de notre rgion courant aot 1944, et particulirement
en ce qui concerne le secteur Sud de la poche de Lorient, autour de
Carnac et dErdeven notamment. Les acteurs de ces vnements
restants souvent trs discrets, aussi<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>tous tmoignages indits sur des faits de cette poque
sont-ils bienvenus pour la contribution une meilleure connaissance<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>de notre histoire locale durant cette priode. Aujourdhui,
Pierre Godec, n Locmariaquer en 1920, nous livre son tmoignage
sur certains faits prcis et vnements quil a vcus avec ses
camarades.<o:p>

cette course vers lEst, ils laissent derrire eux des poches
de rsistance que larme allemande, pas compltement vaincue,
sest constitue autour de ses points fortifis de la cte
Atlantique conformment aux ordres de son Etat-Major.<o:p>

le cas notamment du secteur de Lorient et les sites associs de
Belle-Ile en Mer, de Groix et de Quiberon qui seront contenus par les
combattants volontaires en attendant la libration totale du pays en
mai 1945.<o:p>

repli en urgence de larme allemande dans ces poches
a malheureusement t loccasion dexactions et de reprsailles
sur la population civile et sur les rsistants qui avaient pris les
armes.<o:p>

le Morbihan, aprs les vnements dramatiques du maquis de
Saint-Marcel le 18 juin 44, des parachutistes SAS engags auprs des rsistants
sont chargs de crer et dencadrer des compagnies de combattants
volontaires civils afin de capturer les soldats allemands qui cherchent
se rfugier dans<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>la
poche de Lorient .<o:p>
</o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 25; margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">Cest
dans le cadre de ces vnements souvent tragiques lis cette priode
que la premire partie de ce rcit sous forme de rsum<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>trouve sa place. La seconde partie du rcit, plus dtaille,
nous narre la vie quotidienne des combattants chargs de contenir
lennemi repli dans la poche de Lorient , et plus prcisment
dans le secteur de Carnac, Plouharnel, Erdeven, aux abords immdiats de
la ligne de dmarcation de la zone occupe que lon pourrait appeler
la poche de Quiberon disposant dune formidable force
de frappe avec les pices dartillerie du Bgo lentre de la

Todt</i> de 1941, anne de sa dmobilisation de la Marine
Nationale et de son retour la vie civile, juillet<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">

quelques Mauser, des cartouchires en toile de parachutes, des grenades
quadrilles offensives et des grenades dfensives dites de corps
corps, des pains de plastic de la grosseur dune boule bretonne avec
leurs dtonateurs, quelques casques Le<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>tout tant<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>accroch
aux ceinturons, les chargeurs en lune des fusils mitrailleurs
prenaient place dans un sac de jute .<o:p>

faisaient tat dun groupe de soldats allemands aperus en diffrents
points de la commune durant plusieurs jours. Un groupe de combattants

reconnaissance chaque alerte sans pouvoir capturer ces soldats qui se
dplaaient frquemment. Quelques incidents entre la population et le
groupe de soldats en fuite nous taient signals. <o:p>

au secteur de Carnac avec pour mission de contenir les Allemands rfugis
dans la presqule de Quiberon et leur interdire toute intrusion dans
les zones libres. Ce territoire tait inclus dans le secteur de la
poche de Lorient sous contrle de larme allemande.<o:p>

Boucherie-Charcuterie de la rue Saint-Cornly et je fus remplac avec
joie dans ce travail par Marcel Le Guennec de Locmariaquer. Il tait

peut tre pour rien notre groupe qui dormait dans le grenier de la
ferme ct. En mme temps je me disais que sil y avait rellement

les mines. Nous emes froid dans le dos savoir que tous les jours
nous patrouillions dans ce secteur entre les villages de Loperet et de

Erdeven au moment de loccupation allemande et Pierre Bayon de
Bovelane en Erdeven aussi que nous avons rencontr loccasion
dune visite des lieux en compagnie de Pierre Godec, nous font savoir
aujourdhui que les Allemands avaient pris position au village de
Crucuno au moment du Dbarquement. De lartillerie tait positionne
et des abris avaient t creuss dans la terre. Cette affirmation
serait verser au dossier que nous avions ouvert propos du point
dappui de la Seconde Guerre dcouvert fortuitement dans la lande de
Kerprovost en Belz suite <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>lincendie
de 2003 et qui a fait lobjet dun article dans le Bulletin n 34
de la SAHPL. Dans cette tude, nous avancions lhypothse<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>que ce point dappui fut amnag par larme allemande
pour tenter de sopposer la progression<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>des Allis partir de dbut aot 1944, date darrive de
ces forces dans le Morbihan.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span><o:p>

Pierre Le Morillon, originaire de Port-Louis, cit dans ce rcit
(Secteur de Plouharnel) aux cts de Pierre Godec, se trouvait en
poste dinstituteur stagiaire Saint-Philibert au moment de la
constitution du maquis de Saint-Marcel. Il fut contact par le
commandant Garrec et Bessires sur recommandation de lpouse de
Joseph Rollo<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>dAuray pour
constituer une compagnie de volontaires venir renforcer le bataillon
de Crach (sous les ordres de Bessires). Pierre se souvient
parfaitement de la chasse lAllemand
laquelle il a lui-mme particip Crach et du groupe dAllemands<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>captur et conduit<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>dans
lcole du bourg. Il voque <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>ce
sujet le triste sort rserv un soldat Allemand qui a pay de sa
vie la mort dun rsistant Saint-Marcel. Affect ensuite dans le
secteur de Carnac, il participa avec Roger Vinet la rcupration
mouvemente par bateau dun groupe de dserteurs allemands du fort
de Penthivre, Il sest ensuite retrouv dans le secteur de Sainte-Hlne
en bordure de la rivire dEtel avec le bataillon Muller ,
sur Pont Scorff en janvier 1945 et ensuite au PC du secteur jusqu
la Libration.<o:p>
