Une croix ancienne dite de talus longtemps
remise et abandonne dans un roncier est aujourdhui sauve et
mise en vidence par le propritaire des lieux afin quelle puisse
tre sauvegarde dfinitivement et admire par tout un chacun.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">Cela
se passe Belz, au village de Kervilaine (Kerevelen sur les actes du
XVIII<sup><span style="mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt">me</span></sup> sicle),
la croix que lon pourrait dater du Haut Moyen Age a la particularit
de comporter sur 1 face lintersection des bras une croix patte
inscrite en bas relief dans la pierre visible seulement sous un angle
dclairage particulier.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span></p>

croix monolithe du type palis lorigine plante dans un talus de
la parcelle <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">parc er groez </i><span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>aujourdhui ras, est de<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>facture
fruste, branches courtes pattes, constitue de granit clair gros
grains dorigine locale (hauteur totale de <st1:metricconverter
ProductID="1.80 m" w:st="on">

, largeur <st1:metricconverter

la croix est scelle dans un socle monolithe de granit mont dans la
cour de la ferme.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">Cette
croix est semblable en tous points celle du lieu-dit Croix
Jean en Belz la sortie du village en direction du village de
Saint-Cado, cette dernire scelle dans un mur de clture tant par
contre dnue de toute inscription.</p>

La tradition populaire
attribue lordre religieux bien connu des Hospitaliers de
Saint Jean la paternit de ces croix riges en limites des
domaines possds. En serait-il ainsi Belz ? Lancienne glise
de Belz tait voue au culte de Notre Dame, laquelle, selon
E.Gilliouard, aurait t sous lgide de lordre des Chevaliers
Hospitaliers dont chacun<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>connat
lemblme distinctif la croix patte.

signalons la dcouverte fortuite suite au nivellement du bosquet de la
croix Hospitalire dun ancien<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>calvaire enterr mais malheureusement incomplet sur ce mme
lieu. Ce calvaire de granit dorigine locale reprsente dune manire
frustre un crucifix en relief sur un fut pans que lon pourrait
dater du Moyen Age, au revers de ce crucifix sont reprsents des
motifs en relief difficilement interprtables (en principe sont reprsents
au revers des crucifix la <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Vierge
et lEnfant</i> ). Ce calvaire pourrait tre dat de lpoque
du Moyen Age<a style="mso-footnote-id:ftn3" href="#_ftnref3" name="_ftnref3" title><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Times New Roman; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: FR; mso-fareast-language: FR; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-special-character: footnote" class="Caractredenotedebasdepage">[3]</span></a>,
il fera lobjet dune restauration ultrieure par son propritaire.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">Ce
sauvetage est exemplaire et symbolique, ces croix places escient
comme des jalons dans les campagnes ont marqu les consciences
paysannes. Aujourdhui la foi pour ces croix est bien moindre, volution
des mentalits oblige, et si nous y trouvons un intrt, cest plutt
pour leur valeurs reprsentatives de cette civilisation agraire dont
nous sommes tous issus.

de croix sont frquentes et deviennent inquitantes, de puces
lectroniques de la taille dun grain de riz incrustes dans ces
anciennes croix de manire pouvoir les suivre la trace en cas
de vol</p>
