et pour les disciplines artistiques mont aussi guid tudier

</span>existait dj lors des prcdents conflits de 1870. <o:p>

Les soldats franais et bretons en particulier ont
pay un lourd tribut lors de cet pisode meurtrier.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 25" align="justify">Pour donner une ide
du massacre, plus de 700 jeunes soldats habitants des cinq communes du
canton de Pluvigner (Brech, Camors, Landvant, Landaul, Pluvigner) y
trouveront la mort .</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 25" align="justify">Mon grand-pre
maternel, Joseph Brient de Landvant sera mobilis et participera au
combat du ct de Laon et Chaumont. Son frre Vincent, lui aussi
mobilis recevra par la suite la lgion dhonneur pour acte de
bravoure en conduisant son groupe lassaut.Tous deux auront la
chance de rentrer chez eux en Bretagne sans trop de squelles.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span></p>

</span>En parcourant brocantes et trocs et puces, je me suis intress
cet artisanat <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">art naf
populaire</i> des tranches, on dit aussi <i>orfvrerie des
tranches</i>, tmoignage despoir et de libert conus parfois au
milieu des rafales dobus qui sabattaient au dessus des
combattants. Lors de la bataille de Verdun, prs de 4 000 000 dobus
seront tirs .</p>
<p class="MsoBodyTextIndent" align="justify" style="text-indent: 25">Les douilles en laiton sont particulirement
nombreuses.Chaque famille franaise en possde ou du moins en ont possd.
Voici un chantillonnage non exhaustif prsent pour permettre sans
prtention aucune, de recrer travers un objet, une ambiance
ludique qui pouvait rgner mme quand la mort se trouvait au dtour
des talus.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 25" align="justify"><span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>Entre les assauts meurtriers en dehors des mitrailles et des
combats, il est difficile de ne pas sennuyer. Alors, il faut <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">tuer</i>
<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:
normal">le temps</i> avant que lennemi, prsent proximit ne se charge
de passer lattaque .</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 25" align="justify">Faut aussi prciser
que beaucoup de ces soldats trs habiles de leurs mains travaillent le
bois, sont menuisiers, bnistes et connaissent aussi la ferronnerie
(marchaux-ferrands, ferblantiers, zingueurs).</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 25" align="justify">Les poilus, dans
lanonymat le plus total, vont se regrouper en ateliers collectifs,
fabriquer des bagues, des briquets, des encriers..et des vases,
pour oublier le calvaire quils endurent sous le froid et les intempries.</p>

</span>Les anciens du Maroc, les zouaves vont aussi apporter leur
savoir-faire. Il va aussi se crer des ateliers de fabrication, des
expositions, voire mme des concours seront organiss<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>Une conomie de cet artisanat verra le jour, les objets seront<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>monnays, vendus, changs parfois contre dautres services.</p>

pices ont t graves avec des moyens rduits, un petit marteau de
couvreur, un modeste burin improvis, la douille tant parfois<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>remplie de terre au pralable.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 20" align="justify">Dautres ont bnfici
dune technique plus approprie, on remplissait cette douille de
braise rouge, ce qui avait pour effet de rendre le laiton plus souple<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>afin quil soit grav en profondeur, cintr voir mme torsad,
avec un pince ou une tenaille (on en avait bien besoin par les fils de
fer barbels).</p>
<p class="MsoBodyTextIndent" align="justify" style="text-indent: 20">Lemboutissage pouvait de faire aussi au
marteau ou au maillet. Certains dcors ont t repousss et cisels
la mollette pour obtenir un effet de relief.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 20" align="justify">Parfois le bord suprieur
est dcoup .</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 20" align="justify">Certaines pices se prsentent
sous une forme encore plus labore, un motif tant dcoup puis
coll sur la douille.</p>

Pour la technique de cintrage (hypothse) :</p>

Aprs utilisation et retires de la culasse du
canon,<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>ces douilles sont
stockes. Elles sont parfois coupes en deux avant dtre places
sur un brasro<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>improvis.
Le laiton va fondre partir de 500 degrs.</p>

Dautres objets seront aussi fabriqus en
arsenaux et dans ce cas le matriel ne manque pas .</p>

Pour les puristes, lart de fabriquer de tels
objets sappelle la dinanderie une technique
ancestrale qui vient de Dinant (Belgique), sa ville dorigine.</p>
