<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY">Ces cinq galets amnags ou
taills font suite aux ramassages rguliers de ce site
du littoral plmeurois.</p>
<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY"> </p>
<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY">Le premier (fig.1) est un chopping-tool en quartzite
grains de quartz bien visibles ; une arte a t confectionne par
des enlvements bifaciaux, et porte des traces dutilisation sous forme
dun crasement et esquilles dusage.</p>
<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY"> </p>
<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY">Cest un outil ergonomique dun poids de 510 g.</p>

<p>Les deux choppers suivants sont faits dans le mme matriau
quartzeux.</p>
<p>Le premier (fig. 2) est un chopper distal, cest un outil de bonne
taille de 600 g ; une belle arte tranchante a t
confectionne par des enlvements contigus.</p>
<p>Le second (fig. 3) est un chopper latral/transverse dun poids de
480 g.</p>

<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY">Les deux choppers ci-dessous (fig. 4 et 5)
proviennent du mme site que les deux pr-cdents, mais sont
confectionns sur des galets plus allongs.</p>
<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY">Le chopper de la figure 4 est en quartzite grains
fins de teinte beige et pse 550 g. Les nombreux enlvements
rappellent la taille des bifaces : de grands enlvements au
percuteur dur, des points dimpact bien visibles suivis de retouches
secondaires qui affinent le tranchant.</p>
<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY">Le chopper prsent figure 5, confectionn sur un
galet plat de quartzite gros grains, peut sans doute tre class
comme uniface : les enlvements, faits au
percuteur dur comme en tmoignent les points dimpact en forme de
gouge , sont envahissants et couvrent plus de la moiti
de la pice ; le talon est rserv pour la prhension. Pas ou
peu de retouches secondaires en font un outil rustique prt lemploi.</p>
